Application Guide

1. Clean Slate
Sunscreen works best on clean skin. Apply directly to clean, dry skin primed with your favorite toner, serum and moisturizer. Ensure skin isn’t oily as excessive oil can cause sunscreen to clump.

2. Shake, Shake, Shake
This is an absolute must—shake container well before dispensing to thoroughly mix contents.

3. Be Generous
Apply sunscreen in generous portions to ensure you’re protected! Use a dime-sized amount for face, ensuring total coverage around eyes, nose and ears. Apply a thick layer across full body.

4. Face Application
Apply a nickel-size amount to the back of your hand. Using fingertips, dot sunscreen to forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. Use your hand or makeup sponge to connect the dots by blending thoroughly to cover the entire face. As a general rule, apply a generous layer every 2-3 hours depending on how much time you spend outside in direct sunlight.

5. Body Application
Using fingertips, apply 3-4 dots in a line on forearms and 1 dot on the back of the hand. Using your full hand, connect the dots by blending thoroughly. Cover the entire area while lightly massaging arm and hand. Use same tech-nique for neck, chest and legs.

6. Under Makeup
Using a hydrating sunscreen like our Daily Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF30, apply in thin coats using a cushion puff. After doing so, go over it again with an SPF makeup base for a final layer of protection. This also helps sunscreen last longer throughout the day.

7. Over Makeup
Apply sunscreen over makeup as the perfect finishing touch and always reapply throughout the day.

8. Mirror, Mirror
Watch yourself in a mirror during application, taking care to apply evenly, and hit those easy-to-miss spots like the hairline and neck.
