A: I help women navigate the nuanced world of skincare so they can identify ingredients and pick products that will help them address their areas of concern and take better care of their skin.
Most importantly, I educate women to help them confidently develop a personalized skincare routine they can actually keep up with for consistent results
I draw on my experience as a dermatology PA to help women understand skincare science instead of falling prey to marketing ploys—or resorting to more invasive procedures for quick fixes, but still not implementing preventative skincare.
Q: WHY DO YOU LOVE USING MDSOLARSCIENCES?
A: I love the elegant texture of mineral sunscreens that you actually want to wear. MDSolarSciences SPF was the first mineral sunscreens I tried that were shockingly enjoyable to apply AND easy to apply to my mobile toddler.

A: I love that it bridges the clinical and “cleaner” beauty gap. The EWG certification and dermatology oncologist creator were why I tried originally. I fell in love because of the texture and quality. The sunscreen stick was my first love. Shortly after trying I started carrying the products in the dermatology office where I work and online. I continue to love MDSolarSciences more because it is the answer for my atopic dermatitis patients and any one with sensitive skin. My favorite stories are from patients on chemo and/or radiation that say MDSolarSciences is the only sunscreen that doesn’t irritate their skin, and they feel really ‘safe’ using it post cancer because of its EWG credentials.

- WHY: I love the tinted and non-tinted options that make easy application and reapplication on the face, ears, neck, and chest. I think it’s a must for all moms applying sunscreen on children and for everyone wanting to reapply during the day. I really love the tinted option for when you don’t have a mirror to double check. Even my male golfer patients love the tinted option for on the go golf course days.
- PRODUCT 2: Hydrating Sheer Lip Balm SPF 30
- WHY: A tinted, hydrating lip SPF! What’s not to love? These have replaced all daytime lipstick/gloss and lip color for me. Precancerous and cancerous lesions on the lips are notoriously stubborn to treat and the lips are often forgot about when applying SPF. These make life easy and lips look glamorous. It’s a win-win for everyone.

- WHY: The quality and price of this cleanser is phenomenal. I recommend it as a gentle cleanser for everyone. It’s truly a standout product.
