Sunscreens using chemicals as their active agents are absorbed by the skin and must be applied 30 minutes before UV-exposure to be effective. Chemical sunscreens absorb harmful UV-rays instead of blocking them. Our SunScreens are safe for both your skin and the planet and are free of oxybenzone and octinoxate.

Mineral SunScreens

Mineral sunscreens (also known as physical sunscreens) sit on top of the skin, creating a physical barrier between your skin and UV-rays. Protection begins immediately upon application. Our Mineral SunScreens use only Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide, which are the only active ingredients considered safe for sunscreens by the FDA.
